The Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) is an intelligent high speed digital facility switched network that provides end-to-end digital connectivity for the simultaneous transmission of voice, data, video and images through a single access point. Primary Rate Interface (PRI) is a standardized interface used for carrying multiple voice or data information on a DS-1 or greater transmission facility.
- Each channel can be used for voice, data or video at any time.
- Traditional Voice Services - ISDN PRI allows for access to the Public Switched Telephone Network and all its standard features including access to Emergency Services and Message Relay Service
